California has just as much responsibility to Protect Individualism and the right to Self-Sovereignty as any other state. By not defending the values of this nation you are only creating a situation where those of value that would defend it leave the state and you are left with those that would not.
Any law that avoids, ignores, or supersedes the Constitution is not a law. Even the Supreme Court recognizes this in Norton v. Shelby when it states: An unconstitutional act is not a law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties; it affords no protection; it creates no office; it is in legal contemplation as inoperative as though it had never been passed.
Any law is un-Constitutional that pre-defines the values set forth in the first few lines: "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness". For it breaks with the most important principles of being alive and destroys the very natural value of life, when it defines the value of the self. Laws have no authority to define the value of the self, this is only available to the individual, all other definitions are the worst kind of Tyranny.

Any law that defines and steals someone's personal possessions, is a clear violation of the principles, spirit, and words of the Constitution. There is no other way to view it. In order to do so, one would have to be either ignorant of the truth or in opposition to individualism. But some one of clear mind could never be in opposition to individualism, because they would create a conundrum of hypocrisy within themselves, being that their individual thoughts allowed them to unthink of individuals. Impossible!
You're first responsibility is not to defining Life and Liberty for We the People, but is instead, to protect the Constitution so that we can define these great equalizers for ourselves.
When you define them, you create inequality and destroy the process by which equality is even maintained.
Please stop trying to decide what I can own and how I can operate and use the things I own. They are mine to define and mine to value, and thus, impossible for you to even put a price on, as much as one would value their own life above all other objects, so to do individuals value their own objects.
I oppose all firearms restrictions as not only unconstitutional, but downright unnatural and against the Natural Rights of existence.
