April 15th, 2013 - Letter to the President, Guns like prohibition

Taking guns from people simply because they have had 'mental illness', that is, they have sought out help for issues they have been having emotionally does only one thing: it will teach people having emotional issues to not share them and thus, could, set up a situation not unlike prohibition.

Prohibition did three things: increased the size of government, increased the power of the 16th amendment, and drove drinkers underground.  The outcome of driving people away from a socially acceptable outpouring of their lifestyle and forcing them to behave like criminals was the creation of modern day organized crime.  The truth of the situation was, and is, that when the government forces people away from their nature they create more chances for crime and destructive ends.

Here is the reality.  People whom might be depressed or upset or worried or frightened (yes people whom are afraid of being attacked see doctors, and buy guns...makes sense does it not?) whom in the past would have taken this issue to an outside source and looked for help will now not do such a thing, for fear of having the government steal their property.  What's worse is that unless they then 'slip-up' and let their emotional state appear to say, their friends or family, they could stew in the depths of their issue for a very long time, perhaps so much so that they isolate and vanish from social interaction and thus build themselves into the kind of monster that could issue atrocious ends on the world.   As usual, the government would instead of helping, in fact create more of these monsters, by forcing them underground.  Need I imply how sick a society is that thinks itself master of men?  Have none of you read history or for that matter any classic literature?  You will, mark my words, create more destruction than you will ever stop by continuing down this path.  Just pick up a history book and review the struggle of man.

So, as usual, play father bear, make the beds and porridge of mankind and then out of ignorance of your own creations act surprised when Goldilocks goes off the wall.

Your actions are contradictory to the founders of the constitution.  Alexander Hamilton said in Federalist No.84 "For why declare that things shall not be done which there is no power to do?  Why for instance, should it be said that liberty of the press shall not be restrained, when no power is given by which restrictions may be imposed?"  In other words, the government has been given zero authority by the Constitution to even look at the things we consider rights.  To Hamilton, A federalist (the per-cursors of progressives, like yourselves) he believed that there was no need for 'human rights' to be listed in the Constitution, because the Federal government was not specifically empowered to have any power over them.

Not only will your laws create new crime, as in Prohibition and the drug war, but they are in opposition to even the kind of men that would support your big government ideals.  That's how far off the tracks you've come, so lost in the wood that you no longer even realize that there was a sun above the canopy of trees.

Shall not be infringed.

There is no secondary language beyond it.

There is no second case possibilities.

There is only Liberty or slavery and slavery is even expressly prohibited by the constitution, yet, any action that steals my worth and my worldly property is a form of slavery.  Where I pay the State for my existence.

Zero authority to affect the bill of rights.  Everything else is treason, a covert act of war against one's own people, no better than Brutus, acting against Cesar, and destroying the faith of a people.
